Jellybean Maths

We have been learning about making Graphs. We made two graphs about what colour jellybeans we found, comparing two packs of jellybeans. We sorted the jellybeans by colour. We then compared the results of the two packets. We found that in the first pack of jellybeans there were 17 blue beans this was the colour that there was the most of. In the second pack there were more yellow jellybeans 18, more than any other colour. We made graphs to show our results. The best part was eating the jellybeans at the end, they were yummy. The favourite colour, and flavour jellybean in our class were the red ones, we made a graph about our favourite flavour jellybean as well.

It looked like you enjoyed sorting out the jelly beans especially eating them.

I heard lots about all the jelly bean counting - what a great way to count with all the bright colours.
Wonder how many jellybeans were left when you were finished?

Hi Room 6. We are a class at St Francis Xavier Catholic School in town. We enjoyed seeing your blog. The jellybean maths looks like lots of fun as well as great learning. You are welcome to visit our blog if you wish. I will give your teacher the address.
Keep up the great work
